Saturday Coffee Blogging

You know what's good? French press coffee. You're probably laughing right now because you're all like, "Fool, I knew about French press like forever ago." But I just tried it two days ago, so shut up. Just shut up.

The proprietor of RC Coffee (who should totally get a website so I can link to it, wink wink) said something like it has all the essential oils of the coffee still in it because there is no filter to, you know, filter them out. Therefore there's less bitter aftertaste. So I was like yeah yeah, sure, we'll see. But she was right! Maybe it's just power of suggestion but it actually was a much more pleasant experience than drinking drip brew coffee.

As much as I love a well-made cappucino or latte, I've never gotten used to the taste of drip-brew coffee. I thought I just needed to "get used to it" or that I was a "pussy," but it turns out it's just because drip-brew coffee sucks big time.

So then, X-Mas wishlist: French press, Wii.

Also delicious: Starbucks' Maple Macchiato. I have no idea if I spelled that correctly. It looks vaguely Italian, and that's what counts.

I agree with absolutely everything in this blog.

Also, you spelled macchiato correctly. Well done.

I remember this one time my brother bought Big Dave some of that fancy favored coffee from Starbucks. Big Dave took one look at the bag and said "I don't drink this shit". He keeps it real every mourning with his old school coffee. He even takes it to work in a stainless steel mug like the true working class guy that he is.

I have never heard of french press coffee until now but it seems like it would be delicious. And what the heck, maple macchiato?!?!?!? I never go to the bucks down here because it involves driving and spending real life money, but I guess I should!!! That sounds so freaking delicious. Way to represent (Canada)!

I didn't know a maple macchiato existed. I must have it.
