My biggest surprise of the day? Not that Steve Irwin died, but that his death certificate will have any other cause of death than EATEN BY CROCODILE. For what its worth, he probably survived longer than he should have, and at least he wasn't devoured by the animals he dedicated his life to. I guess for that alone we can consider him lucky.

I read that the stingray was hiding in the sand when he swam over it. Then it hit right in the heart. I am afraid we may never find to stingray that killed him.
The Crocodile Hunter was a huge part of our lives for many years, as he was Amy's hero, and I am very sad at Steve's Irwin's death. I feel like we have lost a friend. May God bless his wife, children and parents - as well as all who have loved him for his love of animals. And a special blessing on Amy...
